What Does Responsible Betting Actually Mean?
Responsible betting does not mean you cannot bet. It means betting on your own terms, within your own budget, and in balance with the rest of your life. When betting stops being entertainment and starts feeling like a compulsion — when it cuts into family time or pushes you into debt — that is no longer responsible betting.
For QQOK, responsible play is not a formal policy — it is a core principle. We know our platform touches a part of people's lives, and it is our responsibility to make sure that part stays positive.
For many people in Bangladesh, betting on cricket or football is a form of entertainment — a little extra excitement alongside watching the match. It stays enjoyable as long as you stay in control. QQOK is here to help you keep that control.
7 Core Rules of Safe Betting
These guidelines were not invented by QQOK — they were developed with input from responsible betting experts. But any experienced bettor will tell you exactly the same thing.
- 1Only bet what you can afford to lose: Set a dedicated budget for betting — treat it like a monthly entertainment expense. Never go beyond that limit. Rent, food, and your children's education should never fund your bets.
- 2Don't bet to chase your losses: Chasing losses to recover what you've lost is the most dangerous habit in betting. Accept the loss and come back fresh the next day.
- 3Never bet drunk or on impulse: You should not make betting decisions when you are tired, intoxicated, or highly emotional. Your judgment is impaired in these states.
- 4Don't treat betting as a source of income: Even professional bettors lose over the long run. Expecting a regular income from betting is not realistic.
- 5Take regular breaks: Avoid betting for hours on end without a break. Stepping away regularly keeps your mind clear and your decisions sharper.
- 6Spend time with family and friends: Betting is one part of life — not all of it. Make time for quality moments with family and friends.
- 7Be honest with yourself: Review your betting history once a month. Tally your wins and losses. If it feels like things are getting out of hand — take action before it goes further.
How to Set Up QQOK's Tools
QQOK's safety tools are simple to use. After logging in, go to Account Settings and look for the "Responsible Betting" or "Responsible Gaming" section.
- To set a deposit limit: Go to Settings, enter your daily/weekly/monthly deposit amount, and confirm. The limit takes effect immediately.
- To activate a cooling-off period: Choose your duration (24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days) and confirm. Deposits and betting will be paused for the entire period.
- To apply for self-exclusion: Let us know via Live Chat. We will deactivate your account immediately. You decide how long the exclusion lasts.
- To view your betting history: Go to "My Account" and click on "Transaction History" or "Betting History".
Lowering a limit takes effect immediately. Increasing a limit or cancelling a cooling-off period requires a 24–48 hour waiting period — this is intentional, to prevent decisions made in the heat of the moment.
Self-Exclusion — Taking a Break Is Nothing to Be Ashamed Of
Self-Exclusion means taking a complete break from betting for a set period of time. It is not a sign of weakness — it is proof of self-awareness and the courage to act before things go further.
What happens when you self-exclude on QQOK: you will be unable to log in to your account, make deposits, or place bets; promotional emails will be stopped; and any attempt to open a new account will also be blocked.
Self-exclusion periods: 6 months, 1 year, 5 years, or permanent — whichever feels right for you. If you wish to return after your period ends, our support team will ask a few questions to confirm you are genuinely ready.
Your cash balance remains safe during Self-Exclusion. When you return, you can withdraw or use it as you wish.
Protecting Minors
QQOK is strictly for users aged 18 and above. This is not just a rule — it is our ethical responsibility.
- Your date of birth is verified during registration. Providing false information will be flagged at the KYC stage and will result in your account being closed.
- If anyone under 18 lives in your household, make sure you are logged out of your QQOK account or that your device is password-protected.
- Use parental control software if your child shares the same device.
- If you suspect someone is using an account on behalf of a minor, please report it to QQOK — we will take immediate action.
